In preparation for making a dining room table, I decided to make a couple stools to work out some joinery and to practice working with dyes instead of stain.

The stool on the right is the black feet of the family. There's a removable cushion on the other stool.

These were inspired by the Peace Torii in Japan.

This commission piece is made from Zebrawood. The wine here is to be consumed soon.

I had some leftover pieces of Padauk and made this for Vicky

Made of figured Maple and Paduk. The reddish color of Paduk will darken to a dark brown over time.

Finally decided on a base for a live edge slab of Walnut that I had purchased three years ago.
